About the Author KEN MCMURTRY was born in Oklahoma. He attended colleges in California, Iowa and Vermont. He has written several young adult adventure novels and two non-fiction books. Ken loves reading, telling stories, traveling and spending time with his family. In the past he and his family have lived in Ireland, Spain, Italy and Greece. When not imagining exciting adventures, Ken likes to cook, watch sporting events, exercise and take power naps.
